Social Services

Our workers are trained to offer culturally specific and language appropriate services aimed at improving the quality of life for underserved communities in our area.

  • Care coordination and benefits assistance for all individuals in need

  • Medicare benefits counseling and fraud prevention

  • Case management for elderly or disabled persons

  • Provide personal and home care, as well as respite care for seniors and children with disabilities

Food Program

CORNING cares about feeding the community and offers FREE FOOD distributions every Saturday. Only $3/day provides immigrants and refugee seniors with nutritious and culturally appropriate meals. Your generous donations assure meals and door-to-door shuttle transportation to groups of up to 15 seniors.

Interpretation/Translation

Give clients a voice in their care; provide a professional interpreter for navigating complex situations such as medical appointments, legal matters, or benefits assistance. A donation of at least $50 provide equal access to benefits and self-determination by guaranteeing a client one hour of professional interpretation services.

The Toa Lung and Yu Ying Sung Pediatric Neurology Fund

This endowment supports research, training and patient care in pediatric neurology at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt in Nashville, Tennessee. Specifically, the programs supported by the Fund will pertain to neurodevelopmental disorders that are relevant to Rett syndrome.
